Ponyville Ciderfest is proud and honored to once again partner with Generations Against Bullying for 2018!
We’ve seen a lot of amazing things over the years. Between 4 PVCFs and 3 WCPC’s so far, there have been some incredibly memorable moments. We think it’s safe to say however that PVCF17’s Charity Auction may be the most amazing moment in our history so far. So, it should be no surprise that we have chosen to continue our incredible partnership with Generations Against Bullying.
The PVCF17 auction was absolutely electric. Between the incredible energy that Nicole Oliver brought to the room and the genuinely astonished and grateful reaction of the folks from GAB, it truly was magical. We still get chills thinking about that last auction with the flag! Together we managed to raise $21,771 for GAB, almost double our previous record! We can’t wait to keep that momentum going for 2018!
100% of all proceeds from charity events like our Charity Auction on Sunday, Bake Sale, etc will go to GAB to support them in their mission. We can’t wait to break our record all over again!
Generations Against Bullying (GAB) is a Milwaukee based 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization with an important goal. Their mission statement says it best:
To educate our children and communities concerning the importance of the love, acceptance and cooperation needed to reduce the bullying epidemic. Using our unique, hands-on, proactive approach, in combination with our creative core programs and strategic partnerships, we will provide communities with the tools and resources necessary to promote a culture of upstanders to reduce the bullying epidemic.
Through community services, peer ambassador programs for students and schools, movie nights, celebrity speakers, school assemblies, and other special programs like their Upstander initiative and Buddy Bear, their peer “ambassadog”, GAB utilizes a wide range of initiatives to “shift the culture of bullying into a culture of love, acceptance and encouragement”. We can think of no more appropriate partner to have as our charity.
