Caught Brony Handed = Caught “red handed” in the act of being good.

(No, not “Brony Hooved”. We’re humans, not horses. ^_^)

On the whole, the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom is made up of people that are attracted to the characters and core ideals in the show. These ideals are summed up by the Elements of Harmony: Laughter, Kindness, Generosity, Honesty, Loyalty, and Magic (which we like to think of as Friendship itself).

We think that it’s important to live by these ideals and to stick to them throughout our everyday actions, and moreso that exceptional examples of these types of actions be recognized, if even just a little. That’s why we’re introducing the “Caught Brony Handed” initiative.

We will be keeping our eyes open during Ponyville Ciderfest 2017 for exceptional actions of kindness, honesty, loyalty, generosity, etc. If we see someone performing such an action, they may receive a token of appreciation from us.

We’ll be talking more about this at Opening Ceremonies and throughout the con. We hope that everyone at Ciderfest strives to be caught Brony Handed!

Q: I did something that should count, but no one saw me! What can I do?
A: Be proud of yourself for doing something good! Maybe we’ll catch you the next time!

Q: I did something that should count and a staffer saw me, but they didn’t count it! How is that fair?
A: We don’t have strict guidelines for who gets recognized and who doesn’t. You still did a good thing, and that’s great! However, remember that you shouldn’t do good things just to be rewarded. Maybe we’ll catch you next time!

A: We did. We’re busy, ok? We’ll have a better one next time. ^_^
