Hello, everypony! We have been looking forward to sharing this amazing news with you, and that moment is finally here. Lauren Faust is our first Guest of Honor for Ponyville Ciderfest 2026!
There are announcements, and then there is this one. Lauren Faust developed My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and served as showrunner across its first two seasons. Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Ponyville itself; every bit of it began with her. Every friendship this fandom has made in the years since traces back to a world she drew first. You can read much more about her work on her Guest of Honor page.
A First for Lauren Faust, and for Us!
Here is the part that has our whole team bouncing off the walls: this will be Lauren’s first appearance at a Worthwhile Events convention. Not just her first Ciderfest, but her first time at any event we have ever put on.
For the year we set aside to celebrate the artists of this fandom, there was never going to be another way to open the lineup. Our Festival of Art begins with the artist who started it all!
Registration Opens Sunday at 7 PM Central
One more thing, and it is a big one: registration for both regular and sponsor badges for Ponyville Ciderfest 2026 opens this Sunday at 7:00 PM Central Time. Set an alarm, round up your friends, and be ready when badges go live! Package details will be shared in the next day or two.
