Ponyville Ciderfest is very excited to offer a rare and exciting off-site adventure: the opportunity to attend Xtreme Raptor Day 2022 with the voice of Spitfire! Kelly Metzger and our volunteers will meet up with a group of lucky attendees to attend this yearly celebration at the Schlitz Audobon Nature Center. From their website:

Join us for our annual festival that celebrates these powerful hunters of the sky. This event is held outdoors on our trails. Meet our 15 resident raptors up close and learn more about each of them! Stations throughout the grounds will provide interactive and educational experiences for you and your whole family. Learn about conservation, how to help birds around your own home, and enjoy bird-themed crafts and activities. This special event supports our Raptor Program and the resident birds in our care.

On-site parking is included. This program takes place rain or shine, so dress accordingly.

Here are some important details about the event:

Ticketholders should arrive at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center by 8:45 am. A specific meetup location will be selected closer to the event.

Ticketholders are invited to experience the event as a group, which will likely stay until the event ends at Noon. However, they are welcome to split off and explore on their own, and leave whenever they’d like.

TRANSPORTATION IS NOT INCLUDED. The convention, unfortunately, does not have a way to transport everyone to the event, so ticketholders will need to either drive themselves to the Nature Center or use a rideshare service. We will provide a private channel in our Discord server so ticketholders can optionally offer rides to others or arrange to split rideshares to the location, which is a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

The event is at an outdoor nature center, rain or shine, likely with a fair amount of walking on trails and uneven surfaces. Make sure to check the weather and dress accordingly!

We have pre-purchased a block of tickets for the event, so a ticket to the event is included. Do not purchase a ticket from the Nature Center Website!

We’re sorry, but anyone that arrives at the Nature Center without a ticket purchased from us, even if they have their own ticket purchased from the Nature Center directly, will not be able to be a part of our group.

Kelly will not be able to sign autographs or take individual photos with ticketholders at this event, but our volunteers will take some candid photos to document the adventure!

TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE TO THE PUBLIC ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29TH AT NOON CENTRAL TIME!

The first half will be available to Sponsor and Package Badge Holders (one per person) starting at Noon Central on Friday, October 28th! A link to access this presale will be emailed out to all registered Sponsors and Package Badge Holders from Eventbrite soon!
