3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Many people with disabilities of all ages enjoy My Little Pony, who often find themselves misunderstood by others who don’t understand why they enjoy My Little Pony. In addition, many fall holidays and festivals are enjoyed by people with disabilities but can bring challenges to them as well. Meanwhile, many of the ponies within the TV show have character traits that are shared among people with various disabilities, and many of the friendship lessons featured in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic mirror social skills lessons taught to many people with disabilities during various therapies designed for them. In this panel, listen to a My Little Pony fan discuss how people can utilize references from My Little Pony to teach awareness of the issues and challenges faced by people with various forms of disabilities, and how cosplay has helped improve the lives of many people with disabilities and can be used to teach disability awareness.
