Our lineup of Musicians for 2017 might be our best yet!
Music is a powerful force in the world of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Songs in the show can help tell the story and deliver on powerful moments. A song that the residents of Ponyville sing in harmony can lift everypony’s spirits. It can also be used by a villain to detail their plot to take over Equestria.
In the My Little Pony fandom, it’s no different. Aspiring musicians inspired by the show create beats that make the bass drop, tunes to rock out to, and melodies for everyone to sing along to. Nearly everyone who is a brony has been touched or inspired in some way by music from their fellow fans.
This year for Ponyville Oktoberfest, we are proud to bring some of the best to entertain you and give you one of the best concerts this side of Milwaukee. We are bringing nine of the most diverse beats and sounds in the fandom. The nine musicians and groups coming to Oktoberfest this year include:
You can see them at our concert and dance on Saturday night starting at 7:00 in the Mane Events area. And for even more music, check out the Renegade Stage in the Apple Orchard all three days of the convention!
This year’s Ponyville Oktoberfest runs from October 20th to the 22nd at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, and badges are still available! A full weekend badge only costs $50, but pre-registration ends in a few weeks and then the price goes up to $60! If you can’t make it to this year’s event, but still want to feel like you’re a part of it, we have our new Spirit Badge! The Spirit Badge helps support the convention, and gets you lots of swag in return. For $100, you get this year’s convention t-shirt, poster, glassware, and exclusive poster from Guest of Honor Jay Fosgitt, and a souvenir badge.
